Info for our
support agencies

WeCycle is a not-for-profit organisation that re-homes unwanted and discarded bicycles with members of the asylum seeker and refugee communities and others in need.

A bicycle may provide an affordable, easy and active means of transport.

We have a team of volunteers who assess and repair the bicycles at our bike shed to ensure they are in a safe condition for a new owner.

We invite case workers to refer clients to us who they consider to be in need of assistance with obtaining a bicycle.

We need details of name, age and height of clients in order for us to match up a suitably sized bike. Even better, the client can come down to the WeCycle bike shed and we will find a bike that fits them perfectly. Opening hours 10am to 3 pm most Saturdays.

Clients are asked to pay what they can afford for the bicycle and will also receive a helmet and lock. Health Care Card holders are also entitled to a discount.

We are also offering an earn-a-bike scheme whereby youth can come down to the bike shed and earn a bike by learning how to repair bicycles and ride safely.
