Darebin Bicycle Community together hosts Ride2Work at WeCycle

The whole Darebin Cycling Community came together as WeCycle hosted a Ride2Work day event at the WeCycle community bike shed at Batman Park on Wednesday 17 October 2018.

Commuters riding home along the St George's Rd shared path were offered delicious ice creams provided by Luke of Mammoth Ice Cream http://www.mammothicecream.com/

Attendees were able to hop on a blender bike to pedal themselves a fruit smoothie. Blender bikes provided by Bike n Blend http://www.bikenblend.com.au/

Richie from the Bike Lane provided bicycle safety checks for commuters http://richiebikelane.com.au/

Northcote Police offered the chance for commuters to have their bicycle engraved for theft identification purposes.

City of Darebin provided bicycle repair kits, drink bottles, lights and other cycling accessories.
